Perth Community Farm Roundhouse

The roundhouse we built a few years ago at the Cwm Harry Community Garden in Newtown, Wales was such a success that I suggested to Craig and the team that we build one at Perth Community Farm. It was a brilliant space for courses, meetings, lunch breaks etc, it also demonstrated and taught low impact skills and design, plus it brought people together and was a lot of fun. Here's a few photos to explain a bit more about these buildings and how we built the Cwm Harry one.
The round floor plan for houses has been used in the UK since the Bronze Age, built from whatever materials were around locally.
LAMMAS ECO VILLAGE
