About Me

My photo
Ian Watt
I'm a woodworker, therapist and general eco adventurer. Since a wake-up moment in 2006, I've been actively exploring what a sustainable way of life might look like, visiting and helping out on eco-projects, small holdings, hill farms and community gardens here in the UK and in Portugal. It's been a fascinating time - read all about it in my various blogs via the links. I've come to agree more and more with Permaculture teacher Geoff Lawton's great saying, "You can solve all the world's problems.... in a garden!"

!! GET GROWING PERTH !!

HELP - SHARE - LEARN - HAVE FUN !!
What a brilliant opportunity if you have lock-down time on your hands to get gardening! There's loads we can do even with the current severe restrictions. Maybe you're a complete beginner or have a garden you'd like help in developing, or maybe you would like to link up to share ideas, seeds, produce, or just to make gardening friends and have fun... get in touch! There's already a network of brilliant projects in and around Perth, starting with our own Community Farm. You don't even need a garden... see my post on sprouted seeds, some of the best and cheapest nutrition you'll get :-) Let's do what we can right now to start to build a local resilient food network.

THERAPY IN THE ECO WORLD

I've seen various projects run into difficulties through clashing personalities, different ways of working and just general misunderstandings. My blog, "Ian Watt Cranial", explains more about the way in which my therapy work, CranioSacral Therapy combined with Energy Work, can help people to get along together. It can help individuals and groups to understand their personal patterns and roles, how they create stress and difficulties, why they have adopted them, and how they can start to let them go. Please get in touch to find out more.
